I am also a qualified clinical supervisor and offer supervision to therapeutic practitioners.”
About Me
I have an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy, an MSc in Psychology, and a Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as a therapist and clinical supervisor. I am also an Associate Lecturer in the School of Psychology and Counselling at The Open University (OU), and a Facilitator on an MSc psychotherapy training programme accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and awarded by the University of Staffordshire.
Approach
I understand therapy as a process of self-exploration within the safety of a therapeutic relationship that is characterised by acceptance, empathy and authenticity. I work in a client-led way, which means that our work together will be unique and will respond to what would be helpful and therapeutic for you. I provide an open, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore the issues and feelings that you bring to the session.
