About Me

When children, young people, or families face overwhelming challenges, finding a safe space to process feelings is vital. I am a qualified social worker with vast experience supporting them through difficult experiences, including trauma. I offer a deeply understanding and youth-friendly approach, helping you make sense of emotions and build practical coping strategies. Together, we can strengthen family connections, fostering resilience for a clearer path forward.

Approach

When feelings overwhelm a child, young person or family, I focus on building a predictable, youth-friendly space that feels safe and steady. In Pretoria I meet in person and work in English, seTswana, isiXhosa or isiZulu, keeping sessions practical and paced to suit adolescents and caregivers alike. We move between emotional processing, simple coping skills and short, achievable tasks that support safety and family connection; I offer advocacy when needed to protect wellbeing. This way of working often helps those wanting clear steps and calmer days.
