Ms Aarushi Sabharwal

Counseling Psychologist

I help people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and the belief that meaningful change begins with deeper self-awareness. I work with adolescents, adults & couples navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and questions around identity, self-worth, and belonging.

About Me

Over the 7 years of practice, I have worked with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. This work has taught me that beneath many of our struggles are deeper questions about connection, belonging, self-worth, and the ways we have learned to navigate relationships. I view therapy as a unique space, one that allows us to slow down, become curious about ourselves, and understand patterns that may no longer be serving us. I am drawn to work that goes beyond symptom relief and focuses on developing deeper insight, self-awareness, and self-compassion.

Approach

I see therapy as a collaborative process rather than a set of techniques applied to a problem. My style is warm, engaged, and reflective, offering both emotional support and gentle challenge when needed. My work is informed by psychodynamic and attachment-based thinking, which means I pay attention to how past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns continue to shape the present. At the same time, I integrate practical tools and strategies when they are helpful. In our work together, we may explore recurring relationship dynamics, difficulties with boundaries, self-criticism, anxiety, emotional regulation, or experiences that continue to have an impact long after they occurred. Therapy is tailored to your needs, your goals, and your pace.
