Mr PJ Toal

Counselor

As an integrative Counsellor I draw on elements of different perspectives and provide a unique therapy which is adapted to suit my clients

About Me

My approach as an integrative counsellor means our work together is always designed around you. I draw on various perspectives to build a therapy that truly fits your unique needs. We'll explore different tools and insights, discovering what resonates most deeply. This bespoke approach is ideal if you seek a flexible, personal path. We'll find a way forward that truly supports your individual journey.

Approach

What follows is a tailored process that unfolds at your pace, shaped by what you bring each week and adjusted between sessions as needed. In a calm Newry consulting room, in English, I use short reflective exercises, focused listening and gentle psychoeducation to help clarify patterns around anxiety, grief, mood shifts, relationships and life transitions. Sessions move at a practical, collaborative rhythm—sometimes probing, sometimes quiet—and I offer small tasks or reflections to try between meetings. This way of working suits adults and couples seeking steady, personalised change.
