Mrs Michelle Lawrence

Clinical Psychologist

I have experience in dealing with people negatively impacted by narcissistic family systems/individuals

About Me

Living with the shadow of narcissistic relationships can be incredibly challenging and isolating. As a Clinical Psychologist, I understand the profound impact these dynamics have on your well-being. I help individuals process and move beyond the negative effects of narcissistic family systems or individuals. Together, we can reclaim your sense of self and build healthier boundaries.

Approach

Having supported clients harmed by narcissistic family dynamics, I guide therapy as a steady, collaborative exploration of what left you confused and exhausted. In Cape Town or online, in English or Afrikaans, sessions move at a practical, compassionate pace—short check‑ins, focused reflection, and concrete experiments you try between meetings. We attend to emotions, rebuild clear boundaries, and unpack repeating patterns with simple tools that fit your life. This way of working often helps adolescents and adults ready to feel safer and more grounded.
