A government hospital or clinic referral makes the first visit free, with follow-ups at RM5. A private-practitioner referral costs RM30 for the first visit and RM5 for follow-ups. Specified exempt groups pay nothing. The hospital publishes public referral/document guidance and specialist-clinic fees for government and private referrals.
