Suicide Hotlines and Crisis Lines in Belarus
❝Suicide hotlines and crisis lines in Belarus, with every number checked at source. In an emergency, dial 112 or 103.❞
IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, get help now. In Belarus, dial 112, the unified emergency number, or 103 for an ambulance. The Ministry for Emergency Situations states that a call to 112 is always free, and that it works even with no SIM card, no network coverage, or a negative balance. You can also go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital. For readers outside Belarus, there is a worldwide list of emergency numbers and a list of helplines and suicide hotlines worldwide.
A helpline is a place to talk to someone when you are struggling, before or instead of a crisis. The lines on this page are answered by psychologists of the state healthcare system, or by psychologists at the services named beside each number. If you are not in Belarus, the worldwide list is organised by country.
What you share is kept private in almost all cases; if a counsellor believes a life is in immediate danger, they may arrange urgent help. What each call costs is set out beside each service below, because some of these lines publish that calls are free and others do not publish a call cost.
TherapyRoute is a directory. We do not answer calls or messages ourselves, so please use the numbers below rather than contacting us if you need someone now.

Emergency numbers, and what each one is for
Belarus runs a unified emergency number alongside its older sector numbers, so all of them are given here.
All emergencies: 112
The Ministry for Emergency Situations explains that 112 connects you to the rescue service and that the dispatcher can transfer you to any of the other emergency services. In its own words, "такой вызов для вас всегда будет бесплатным" ("such a call is always free for you"), and 112 can be dialled with no SIM card, no network from any mobile operator, or a negative balance.
Ambulance: 103
The Ministry also names the sector numbers that 112 does not replace: 101 for the rescue service, 102 for the police, 103 for emergency medical help, and 104 for the gas service. For a mental-health emergency where a life is at risk, 103 is the ambulance number.
133, the national emergency psychological help line
Служба экстренной психологической помощи по номеру 133 (Emergency Psychological Help Service, number 133) is a national line run within the state healthcare system. It was announced by the Ministry of Health, which launched it in August 2025, and it is published on the Ministry's own site and on the sites of the state psychiatric centres.
The Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health states on its own page: "В Республике Беларусь работает круглосуточная служба экстренной психологической помощи по номеру телефона 133" ("In the Republic of Belarus a round-the-clock emergency psychological help service operates on the telephone number 133") and "На звонок ответят психологи системы здравоохранения" ("Psychologists of the healthcare system will answer the call").
The line is for states of hopelessness, including bereavement, separation, serious physical illness, the experience of violence, and a wish to die. You can call anonymously.
Tel: 133
Hours: every day, 24 hours, in the service's own word: "круглосуточная", round the clock.
Cost: in the operating pages' own words, "Исходящий вызов для абонентов Белтелеком, А1, МТС, Лайф бесплатный" ("The outgoing call is free for subscribers of Beltelecom, A1, MTS, Life"). The pages do not state the cost from other networks.
Детская телефонная линия, the national children's line, 8-801-100-16-11
The republican Детская телефонная линия (Children's Telephone Line) is the national round-the-clock help line for children and adolescents, described across state health pages as "республиканская" and "общенациональная", nationwide. The Minsk oblast centre calls it "общенациональный телефон доверия для детей и подростков" ("the nationwide trust line for children and adolescents").
The Minsk ambulance station's listing scopes it as the national line for help to children who have suffered cruel treatment, including sexual violence. Calls are anonymous.
Tel: 8-801-100-16-11
Hours: in the listing's own words, "ежедневно, круглосуточно", daily, 24 hours.
Cost: "звонки бесплатные со стационарных телефонов" ("calls are free from landline telephones"). No page states the cost from mobiles.
Minsk city trust line for adults
Экстренная психологическая помощь для взрослых, «Телефон доверия» (emergency psychological help for adults, "Trust Line") is a round-the-clock anonymous telephone service for adults in Minsk city. It is regional, not national; the national line for adults is 133 above.
The city children's hospital's wording: "Круглосуточная экстренная психологическая помощь для взрослых осуществляется по «Телефону доверия»" ("Round-the-clock emergency psychological help for adults is provided via the 'Trust Line'").
Tel: +375-17-352-44-44
Tel: +375-17-304-43-70
Hours: in the state health pages' own words, "ежедневно, круглосуточно, анонимно", daily, 24 hours, anonymous.
Cost: not published.
Minsk city trust line for children and adolescents
Телефон доверия для детей и подростков (trust line for children and adolescents) is operated by УЗ «Минский городской клинический центр детской психиатрии и психотерапии» (Minsk City Clinical Centre of Child Psychiatry and Psychotherapy). It is regional, Minsk city; the national children's line above is the country-wide counterpart.
The operator's own page says: "Вы можете поговорить с квалифицированным психологом, который внимательно выслушает вас и поможет" ("You can talk with a qualified psychologist, who will listen to you attentively and help") — with tension, anxiety, relationships and understanding yourself, including suicidal thoughts. The Minsk ambulance station's listing adds that the line offers psychological help to children and their parents in crisis situations, so a worried parent can call the same number.
Tel: + 375 17 263-03-03
Chat: «Территория доверия» Telegram chat-bot for under-18s. The operator's homepage states the chat-bot "НЕ заменяет телефон доверия" — it does NOT replace the trust line.
Hours: in the operator's own words, "Звони 24 часа в сутки" ("Call 24 hours a day"), every day.
Cost: not published. What the operator does publish is that the conversation is anonymous.
While you are waiting to be answered
A line that is open can still be busy. If you are waiting, try to stay with someone you trust, or ask someone to sit with you until the call connects.
If you have anything near you that you could use to harm yourself, put it somewhere harder to reach, or ask someone else to hold it for you. Distance and time both help.
If waiting is not possible, dial 112 or 103, or go to a hospital emergency department. You do not need an appointment and you do not need to explain yourself well.
If you are worried about someone else
Ask them directly. Asking someone whether they are thinking of suicide does not put the idea there, and it often comes as a relief to be asked plainly.
Listen more than you advise. You do not need the right words, and you are not expected to fix anything.
If they are willing, offer to sit with them while they call one of the numbers above, or to make the call together. If they are in immediate danger, treat it as you would any medical emergency.
Supporting someone through this is heavy, and it is reasonable to want support of your own. If you are an adult worried about a child, the Minsk children's trust line states that it helps children and their parents, and the national children's line is open at any hour.
For services in other countries, see the list of helplines and suicide hotlines worldwide.
