The list on this page is short, and it may not hold anyone who suits you. Two things below still apply. One is who is entitled to register as a therapist in this country. The other is what shapes the cost of a session here.
Zambia pays for health care from the government budget and from donor support. The national health insurance scheme and user fees charged at the point of service make up the rest. The National Health Insurance Act No 2 of 2018 created the compulsory fund.
The fund publishes a benefit package listing what it covers. Mental health is not among the listed services. The Ministry of Health's Chainama Hills College Hospital runs an outpatient clinic for adults.

Registration and licensing
Licensing arrangements for therapy differ a great deal from one country to the next, and for Zambia TherapyRoute cannot point you to a national register to check a practitioner against. Ask a practitioner what training they completed, what title they use, and whether they hold a registration anywhere, then ask to see it.
