The list on this page is short, and it may not hold anyone who suits you. Two things below still apply. One is who is entitled to register as a therapist in this country. The other is what shapes the cost of a session here.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health runs mental health care from community centres. Centres operate across the West Bank governorates. The psychiatric hospital sits at Bethlehem. The centres offer assessment, talk therapy, family work and psychiatric medication.
One centre, at Halhul, is for children and adolescents. Occupational and rehabilitative work was added to what the centres provide.

Who is allowed to practise
In Palestine the Ministry of Health licenses psychological counselling. The Ministry issued the instructions in 2021. The profession may not be practised without that licence. There are two grades. One is for a master's or doctorate.
The other is for a bachelor's degree, working under supervision. Membership of the Palestinian Syndicate of Social Workers and Psychologists is a condition of the licence. It is not an alternative to it.
The Ministry runs the qualifying examination with the Syndicate twice a year. Ask which grade a practitioner holds, and ask to see the Ministry licence itself.
