Zelna Faurie

Professional Counselor

Licensed Trauma Counsellor and Accredited TRE® Practitioner who Specialises in Tension and Trauma Release Therapy.

About Me

When deep tension or past trauma feels held within your body, finding relief can be challenging. I specialise in Tension and Trauma Release Therapy, guiding you through specific TRE® exercises to gently release these patterns. This approach is ideal if you feel stuck or overwhelmed by lingering effects. Together, we can work towards greater calm and resilience.

Approach

Sessions centre on somatic noticing and gentle TRE tremoring to help your nervous system settle and make sense of held tension. In my Benoni consulting room or online, in English or Afrikaans, I pace work to your comfort—mixing short movement-led practices, calm breath regulation and clear check-ins so you always know the next step. Between meetings I offer simple, manageable exercises and reflective prompts to deepen safety and choice. This way of working tends to suit people who want practical, body‑based tools alongside thoughtful emotional processing.
