Resilience - getting to a place 'beyond just surviving'. Exploring complex racial and intersectional identities.

About Me

I support clients moving from mere survival to a deeper sense of resilience, especially those navigating complex racial and intersectional identities. Drawing on my PhD and BSc, I incorporate practical self-reflection exercises into our sessions to help you recognize strengths and heal from past challenges. My approach welcomes your full story, providing a steady space to explore identity and build confidence. Many find this process opens new ways to thrive in daily life.

Approach

Beyond surviving, therapy focuses on translating the strengths you already hold into practical steps for everyday life. In my Bristol-based practice and online sessions conducted in English, I keep a steady, measured pace that balances focused reflection with concrete tasks to try between meetings. We map how cultural and family stories shape choices, using gentle experiments, short reflective exercises and conversational feedback to notice patterns and try different responses. People navigating complex identities, family roles or relationship changes often find this hands-on, thoughtful way of working helpful.
