Mrs Yuka Oshimi

Registered Counselor

I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy degree. I provide virtual counselling and psychotherapy services for neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals across British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.

About Me

I offer virtual Counseling and psychotherapy, creating an accessible space for neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals. My aim is to help you explore your unique experiences and navigate life's challenges with understanding. Sessions are designed to fit your schedule, delivered wherever you are across British Columbia, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. This broad reach ensures support is available to you, fostering your well-being.

Approach

Supporting neurodivergent and neurotypical adults across wide geographic areas, I pace sessions to fit your rhythm and immediate needs, blending focused reflection with gentle skill practice. Sessions are held online in English and often include brief in-session experiments, grounding or attention strategies, and collaboratively set, manageable between-session intentions you can adapt to busy or changing days. I track progress with small, concrete markers rather than grand plans, and this approach tends to suit people seeking practical skills, clarity, and steadier daily functioning.
