Miss Kerry Hooper

Counselor

An experienced person-centred counsellor, registered with the BACP and BPS I am proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I specialise in bereavement, anxiety, depression, self harm and suicide. My fees are £45 per hour but can be negotiated on depending on the clients circumstances. I do what I do because I care.

About Me

As an experienced person-centred counsellor, I offer a compassionate space where you can explore difficult feelings. I specialise in supporting those navigating bereavement, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the importance of truly safe and affirming support. Our sessions will centre on your unique experience. Together, we can find clarity and a way forward, always at your own pace. I am here because I genuinely care.

Approach

When you come to a session, we move at your pace, naming what feels most urgent and following your lead with open, attentive listening. Whether we meet online from East Sussex or in person, sessions are held in English and shaped around your rhythm, practical needs and safety. I reflect back gently, help you make sense of painful feelings and offer small, manageable steps between meetings when helpful. This approach tends to suit adults seeking a steady, affirming space, including many LGBTQ+ clients.
