About Me

I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Parent Coach in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada. I have worked with children and families for over 30 years. I have been in private practice since 2011. I believe my role is to build a child or teen’s self esteem so that they can feel confident as they learn to deal with their issues.

Approach

My approach is to build a child’s self esteem which enables a child to feel more confident when they are learning new concepts and strategies. I utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to teach coping and communication skills to children, teens, parents and families.

I provide a strengths based service that focuses on building self esteem and resilience. As a team, I work with parents and/or guardians to create individual goals for each child or family. I use therapeutic games and activities, as well as art, to teach coping skills and tools that target the individual child’s/ families needs and goals.
