Ms Wendy Gilroy

Counselor

I'm a registered Australian Counsellor, specialising in Women's health and wellbeing. The majority of my clients are mothers.

About Me

I offer a supportive space for women, particularly mothers, to explore their unique health and wellbeing needs. I understand the significant demands and emotional landscape that accompany these roles. Together, we can navigate life's complexities, focusing on practical strategies. Our sessions create a space for reflection, helping you find balance and cultivate a stronger sense of self.

Approach

We begin by exploring what matters most to you and gently shaping sessions around your day-to-day realities as a mother. From my clinic in Sydney or via online sessions in English, meetings are relaxed and paced to suit your energy—sometimes reflective, sometimes practical—so we’ll use simple tools, mindfulness practices and psychoeducation to manage stress, anxiety, anger or perinatal concerns. Between sessions you may try short exercises or parenting strategies to test what works. This approach often suits women seeking steady, usable change.
