Ms Vidhi Diwani

Counseling Psychologist

I believe therapy is a collaborative effort and we as therapist facilitate it by holding the space for the client to be heard and understood without taking their agency. I work through a trauma-informed, queer-affirmative, and neurodivergent-affirmative lens.

About Me

I offer a collaborative space where we work together to explore your experiences. My aim is for you to feel truly heard and understood. With over a year of experience supporting individuals within school settings, I understand the unique pressures many face. This approach is especially suited for young people or those navigating educational challenges, helping to build clarity and confidence. We will always honour your agency as we find a way forward, together.

Approach

Therapy with me unfolds as a joint exploration where you steer what matters and I bring steady, trauma-aware structure alongside queer- and neurodivergent-affirming sensitivity. Sessions—offered online from Thane in English, Gujarati or Hindi/Urdu—move at your pace, alternating focused skill-building for stress, body image or educational pressures with quieter, reflective work around grief and identity. Between meetings I may offer small experiments or brief reflections to try in daily life, always chosen together. Many adolescents and young adults find this paced, practical approach grounding as they make changes.
