Mx Vee Fuhriman

Licensed Professional Counselor

An experienced and compassionate therapist that works with the LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, and minority populations using a trauma informed approach to address CPTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, eating disorders, and various other symptoms that are involved in the intersectionality with culture and diversity.

About Me

This therapist provides a compassionate, trauma-informed space, understanding the unique experiences of LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent, and minority individuals. They help you explore the complex layers where culture and identity intersect with your well-being. Together, you can gently address challenges like CPTSD, anxiety, depression, or eating disorders. This approach offers a supportive environment to navigate your journey towards greater stability and understanding.

Approach

Sessions unfold with gentle pacing, mixing attuned listening and concrete steps to map how culture, identity, and past hurt show up in daily life. In Ashburn or through secure online sessions in English, we use somatic noticing, reflective dialogue, and targeted skills practice so you can feel changes in your body and choices outside the room. Between sessions I offer brief, concrete experiments to try and we review what lands. People navigating layered identities and complex trauma often find this steadier, practical rhythm helpful.
