In my private practice, I integrate the Compassionate Inquiry approach with Polyvagal Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Internal Family Systems. My work is somatically focused, exploring the Autonomic Nervous System to uncover the deeper truths that lie beneath the outward appearance we present to the world.
My philosophy of therapy is centered around the safe and trusting client-therapist relationship, which creates a secure container where healing can occur through compassion, trust, attunement, and acceptance. I firmly believe that “good” therapy is rooted in the quality of the relationship, rather than any specific method or approach.
When the client is feeling safe and open, and is looking for the following meeting.
It is myth that therapy is sign of weakness. People sometimes think they should be strong to solve their own problems. If your leg is broken you go to the doctor. If your connection to the Self is broken you doubt about going to the therapist. I can say it is strength to go to the therapy. One should be brave and strong to be vulnerable and seen at the same time.
Somatic based psychotherapeutic approach created by Gabor Mate that reveals what lies beneath the mask we might present to the world.
