Dr Ulrike Koechling, PhD

Registered Psychologist

I look forward to assisting you with your concerns. (Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Positive Neuroplasticity)

About Me

I offer a collaborative space to explore your concerns. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, I help you develop practical strategies. We also use Positive Neuroplasticity to build inner resilience. This approach is ideal for those seeking structured, evidence-based tools to navigate life’s challenges. My aim is to help you foster lasting positive change.

Approach

You’ll notice sessions are active and goal-focused, blending practical skill-teaching with moment-to-moment attention to emotion and thought patterns. I meet with clients in Victoria, BC, in English, creating a predictable pace where we identify small experiments, practise new responses, and track progress together. Between sessions I often suggest brief, doable exercises that reinforce healthier habits and shift neural pathways so gains carry into daily life. This way of working tends to suit those wanting structured, hands-on support for anxiety, mood, stress or chronic health challenges.
