Mrs Ulrica Lowndes Marques

Licensed Psychologist

Specialized in neurodevelopmental assessments, learning disorders, emotional and behavioral support to children, teens and their parents; Behavioural Difficulties

About Me

I help children, teens, and their families understand their unique learning and behavioural patterns. My neurodevelopmental assessments clarify the root of learning disorders and behavioural difficulties. This understanding allows us to create tailored emotional and behavioural support plans for your child and your family. My aim is to provide practical strategies, fostering growth and confidence at home and school.

Approach

Assessment findings shape practical, bite-sized goals we tackle together, setting clear targets for everyday routines and school tasks. I see clients in Cascais and Lisbon, and offer online sessions in English and Portuguese; appointments move at a steady, focused pace with brief check-ins between meetings. Sessions blend structured skill practice, succinct parent coaching and collaborative problem-solving, each step informed by testing and observation. Parents, children and adolescents who want concrete strategies and measurable progress usually find this approach both doable and reassuring.
