About Us

Founder Bio: The Journey Behind Body• Spirit• Mind & Trusting Konnections My healing journey began in 2007, a turning point that reshaped my identity, my purpose, and ultimately the birth of Body• Spirit• Mind and Trusting Konnections. After a life transition, I found myself emotionally depleted, anxious, depressed, and deeply disconnected from my sense of self. I needed to reclaim my life from the inside out. I began exercising several days a week. As I moved my body, long-suppressed emotions began to surface. Physical movement awakened emotional truth. Shortly after, I began psychotherapy, and the combination of bodywork, meditation, and therapy became the foundation of my transformation. I devoted myself to unraveling my past and regulating my nervous system, attachment style, family history, and the parts of me that never had a chance to fully develop. I learned about the false self, mirroring, validation, empathy, personality structures, trauma responses, and the mind-body connection. Volunteering in the community pulled me toward purpose, and I made the decision to pursue a career in Social Work. I experienced deep integration. Movement, meditation, nutrition, sleep hygiene, emotional processing, and spiritual exploration rebuilt me piece by piece. My identity strengthened. My voice returned. My nervous system settled. My purpose became clear. By 2017, I was ready, not just to heal, but to lead. I developed the framework, integrating: Body: movement, breathwork, somatic grounding Spirit: meditation, inner-child connection, intuitive wisdom Mind: psychotherapy, trauma processing, emotional regulation What helped restore my own life became the foundation of what I now offer clients. Before the Body • Spirit • Mind transformation can occur, a person must first have a trusting, safe, dependable support network. Without this, healing cannot fully transpire. This led to Trusting Konnections in 2021, a therapeutic space dedicated to safety, authenticity, and connection as the gateway to transformation. The Body• Spirit • Mind approach evolved into an integrative psychotherapy practice and a healing approach grounded in trauma-informed care, nervous-system education, boundaries, attachment, emotional processing, and personal transformation. I help clients reconnect with their true selves, release old patterns, and cultivate lives rooted in purpose and resilience. My story is not just a personal journey, it is the blueprint behind the holistic, compassionate, body-based healing model that now supports others in reclaiming their wholeness. Our team of dedicated professionals integrates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, IMAGO couples therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Inner child work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). With a foundation established in 2007, we bring years of experience and expertise to provide personalized care tailored to your unique needs.
