A professional and qualified Psychologist working with adolescents and young adults dealing with life experiences leading to mental health struggles like anxiety and depression.

About Me

Dr. Trishi Tangri is a Psychologist and Hypnotherapist. She holds a PsyD from California Southern University. She is trained in psychotherapy and counselling. She specialises in working with adolescents and adults facing life challenges and has been successful in handling emotional and psychological issues such as anxiety related issues, emotional regulation, anger management, addiction, lifestyle issues, mood related issues, trauma and abuse, relationship and attachment issues. She is trained in psychotherapy and has a psychodynamic approach, integrated with person centred and solution focused practices to help her clients. She is also a trained EFT practitioner. She practices an eclectic approach. She firmly believes that people are inherently composed, and it is under adverse situations that they experience imbalance in their state of mind and emotion. This motivates her to help individuals regain balance through therapy. She emphasises on mindfulness-based techniques, spirituality and meditative practices to promote an individual’s overall well-being and healing as she believes therapy can be beneficial to anyone looking to enhance their experience of life.

Approach

I have a psychodynamic trauma informed approach, integrated with person centred and solution focused practices to help her clients. She is also a trained EFT practitioner. She practices an eclectic approach. Facing anxiety or low mood after difficult experiences, young people and couples find sessions that focus on clear, manageable steps alongside deeper understanding of what’s driving their distress. Sessions run at a steady, unhurried pace from my Hyderabad space or online, in English or Hindi/Urdu, so you can speak in the language that feels right. I mix brief mindfulness and coping practices with careful exploration of relationships and past hurts, and I offer small between-session tools to keep progress steady. This suits those wanting practical, grounded change.
