Mrs Tracey Byrne

Counselor

I’m a fully accredited member of the IACP. I work in general practice, specialising in Gender and Sexual Diversity, Trauma and Mental Health

About Me

Seeking support for mental health, trauma, or gender and sexual diversity can feel daunting. As a counsellor, I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences. We can work together to understand your unique challenges and find your own path forward. My aim is to help you process difficult emotions and build resilience. If you're looking for a collaborative approach to gain clarity, I might be a good match.

Approach

When someone says they feel stuck, I focus on steady, predictable sessions that let you set the pace and shape the agenda. In-person in Dublin or online in English, our meetings balance focused reflection with practical skills—short grounding exercises, pacing for traumatic material, and small, doable steps to ease stress between sessions. I tend to use clear checkpoints so progress feels tangible, which many people dealing with burnout, trauma or questions around gender and sexuality find reassuring and helpful.
