Licensed Clinical Psychologist

verified by TherapyRoute

My clients tend to describe me as warm, grounded, and competent. I work with adults and adolescents across a wide range of concerns, with particular depth in trauma-related work, stress and burnout, and complex or longstanding patterns that keep repeating. My aim is to offer a calm, confidential space where you can speak freely, feel understood, and move towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right. If you reach out via the contact form or email, I will respond as soon as I can to discuss what you are looking for and whether I am the right fit.

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and integrative-psychodynamic psychotherapist offering specialist psyhochotherapy in Nairobi, Kenya. Alongside private practice, I also offer humanitarian support and EAP. For the past 6 years I have been involved in different forms of mental health support.

Approach

In our work together, we pay attention not only to what is happening in your life now, but also to the meanings, expectations, and unspoken assumptions that sit beneath the surface. This includes exploring recurring themes, emotional reactions that feel “out of proportion”, and the ways you may find yourself repeating situations you do not actually want. Over time, you begin to recognise these patterns more clearly and gain room to choose rather than simply react. A central part of psychodynamic work is the therapeutic relationship itself. How you experience me as your therapist often reflects how you have learned to relate to others and to yourself. By exploring this carefully and respectfully, we can reach parts of your story that are usually hard to access and work through them in a safe, confidential setting. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is particularly suited to people who value depth, reflection, and long term change, whether the starting point is anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, burnout, or a more general feeling of being stuck or disconnected from oneself. The aim is not just to manage difficulties, but to help you develop a more grounded, coherent, and authentic way of living that feels like it genuinely belongs to you. Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a depth oriented form of talk therapy that looks beyond symptoms to understand the underlying patterns shaping your emotional life, relationships, and sense of self. Rather than offering quick tips or generic advice, it provides a space to think carefully about how your past experiences, often starting in childhood, continue to influence how you feel and respond today.
