About Me

I am a counselling psychologist based in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa. I assist individuals and couples understand and cope with the painful aspects of their lives. This has seen me working with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adjustment to major life transitions, grief, relationship problems, and personal growth through focused counselling and psychotherapy.

Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative. This means that we will work together to understand the underlying psychological patterns that are possibly the explanation behind your painful experiences. I am mindful of the fact that each person is different, and thus a need to adapt each treatment in a way that is appropriate to the particular circumstances. The value of the work we will do together is often affirmed through improved quality of relationships; improved tolerance of life givens, disappointments and regrets; and significant reductions in feelings of distress.
