Tara Beach

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I am a trauma therapist who specializes in working with folx in the perinatal stage of life (fertility, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, parent of young children). I also love working with LGBTQ+ people, young adults with high anxiety, and veterans/military families.

About Me

I support individuals and families navigating the tender, often complex, journey of the perinatal stage. As a trauma therapist, I also welcome LGBTQ+ people, young adults with high anxiety, and veterans or military families. I offer a compassionate space to explore difficult emotions. We can work together, perhaps using creative approaches like art therapy, to foster healing and build resilience. My aim is to help you find understanding and support during sensitive times.

Approach

When you're moving through those tender transitions, I lean into slow, embodied pacing that invites curiosity and creative expression to help make sense of what feels disorienting. Sessions in Mesa or online (English) are collaborative and grounded: we notice bodily signals, try brief experiments with drawing or breath, and track what shifts between meetings so changes feel practical and attainable. I pace work to match safety and readiness, gently widening what you can tolerate. People in early parenthood, queer folx, anxious young adults, and military-connected families often find this approach fitting.
