Therapeutic Counselor

For professionals who carry a lot of responsibility and are tired of their body not listening to what their mind already knows

About Me

Many people who find my work have already done the therapy. They understand their history, but in the moments that matter, under pressure, in intimacy, or as responsibility increases, their biology hasn't gotten the memo. I work with people who are tired of intellectualising their patterns while their heart is racing, their chest is tight, or they’re nodding "yes" when their system is screaming "no." I specialise in the high-functioning override: - The feeling that you can never fully exhale or land. - Staying capable at work while feeling disconnected from your own joy. - Carrying the weight of others while losing the signal of your own needs. Rather than just analysing the past, we pay attention to what is happening now—in the body and in the relationship—so a steadier form of self-leadership can emerge.

Approach

Your body is faster than your brain. When you're stressed, your biology reacts before you can think. I help you move out of that automatic response so you can lead your life from a place of choice. In a session, we don't just talk. We work in real-time to: - Map the Pattern: Identify where your body locks or braces under pressure. - Interrupt the Loop: Catch the "default setting" before it takes over. - Build Capacity: Expand your ability to stay present and responsive. My method integrates Somatic Experiencing (SE), IFS-informed parts work, and systemic awareness. The goal is to help your system feel safe enough that your old coping strategies no longer have to run the show.

Services

My practice is designed for high-responsibility professionals–clinicians, creatives, and founders–who have hit the limits of traditional talk therapy. When the stakes are high, understanding why you're stuck isn't enough to change a deeply held body habit. I help you work with the root of: - Chronic tension and high-alert: Moving out of constant bracing or shutdown into grounded, responsive action. - Boundary collapse and over-responsibility: Resolving the pattern of carrying everyone else's weight while losing touch with your own needs. - Physical symptoms that won't budge: Working with the body's stress signals – disrupted sleep, tight chest, emotional numbness – even after years of inner work. - Major life transitions: Supporting the internal shifts required during career pivots, relocation, or stepping into greater leadership. The focus is on how change feels in your body and in your relationships – not just how it's understood in your head. We work to restore your capacity to live and work without constantly overriding yourself.
