About Me

I particularly enjoy helping children, adolescents, and their parents navigate life's challenges. Using a psychodynamic framework, we can explore how past experiences shape present feelings and relationships. This approach offers a safe space for young people to make sense of big emotions. Parents can also better understand their child's world. Together, we work to uncover underlying patterns, fostering lasting change and stronger family connections.

Approach

Sessions often begin with listening to each person’s story, giving space for small moments and recurring feelings to surface. In my Cape Town practice and through English-language online sessions I aim for a calm, predictable rhythm that helps children, adolescents and parents feel understood. We use play, gentle reflection and focused observation to explore anxiety and developmental concerns, and I bring assessment when clarity is needed to guide next steps. This way of working suits families seeking insight, steadier emotional responses and stronger connections.
