Mr Talid Khan

Art Psychotherapist

verified by TherapyRoute

London-based Senior Psychotherapist specialising in substance and behavioural addictions, including sex and pornography addiction. I work with individuals seeking structured, discreet, specialist support for long-standing or complex patterns of addiction.

About Me

I am an accredited Addiction Therapist, a qualified Sex Addiction Therapist, and an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist. I previously worked as a Senior Psychotherapist at the Priory Hospital Roehampton and have over a decade of clinical experience across NHS, private, and specialist addiction services. I now work in private practice, supporting UK-based and international clients. Further information about my work can be found at www.addictiontherapistlondon.com. My approach is grounded, relational, and clinically informed, with a strong emphasis on discretion, safety, and long-term change.

Approach

My approach is integrative and tailored to the individual, drawing on psychodynamic psychotherapy, relapse-prevention frameworks, and creative or art-based methods where appropriate. Therapy focuses on understanding what sustains addictive patterns and supporting more sustainable ways of coping. I have particular experience working with trauma, attachment patterns, shame, and neurodiversity, including ADHD and autism. Sessions provide a reflective, non-judgemental space to explore patterns at a manageable pace.
