Dr Syeda Ruksheda (she/her)

Psychiatrist

Dr. Ruksheda is a WHO Fellow from South Korea (psychosocial rehabilitation) & Co-Chair of women's mental health specialty section of Indian Psychiatric Society.

About Me

I support women navigating diverse mental health challenges, understanding the unique pressures you may face. As a psychiatrist, I offer comprehensive care focused on your well-being. My experience includes psychosocial rehabilitation, providing practical strategies to build resilience and navigate daily life. I aim to create a collaborative space where we can work together towards your stability and growth.

Approach

With international training and leadership in women's mental health, my focus is on translating clinical knowledge into clear, everyday steps that fit your life. In Mumbai and online I work in English, Hindi/Urdu or Marathi, pacing sessions to what feels doable and respectful of family rhythms. We combine thoughtful treatment review with brief, practical psychotherapy: collaborative goals, small behavioural experiments, and communication strategies you can try between meetings. This way of working often helps women and families seeking steady, functional progress.
