Suzanne Nievaart, MSW

Therapist / Counselor (Qualifying)

I believe you are the expert in your own life. You know your strengths and your needs. I aim to support you in your journey of healing from (childhood) traumas and building strong relationships to become fully actualized as an adult.

About Me

I believe you hold the answers within your own life. My aim is to walk alongside you as you navigate the impact of childhood traumas. Together, we can gently explore past experiences. This helps you build stronger connections and foster the relationships you truly desire. Our sessions offer a collaborative space to understand your strengths and needs. Here, I support your journey towards becoming fully actualised as an adult, on your own terms.

Approach

You guide the pace while I help map patterns and painful memories into manageable steps that support more secure connections. I offer sessions in English, Dutch and Spanish online, so we can shape work around your life and cultural context. Sessions mix attentive listening, practical coping tools, mindfulness exercises and occasional advocacy between meetings to ease stress and parenting strains. This approach often fits adults working through childhood wounds, mood shifts or cross‑cultural relationship challenges.
