About Me
Approach
I am a Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in family relationships and parenting issues. I also work with individuals, adolescents, and older children presenting with other challenges such as trauma, depression and anxiety. I am trained systemically and enjoy using a dynamic and solution focused approach, but with an underlying Psychodynamic understanding as well as a client-centred style. I am also qualified in Brain Work Recursive Therapy (BWRT) Level 2.
In plain English, it just means I will use as much professional knowledge and resources as I have to assist you in the best way possible.
I believe that good and successful therapy depends very much on a good fit between therapist and client. It's not always a straightforward process to find the right therapist and it takes courage and persistence. Hopefully I can be that therapist for you, but don't give up looking for the assistance you need.
