Susan Barrett

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Verified

I specialize in working with young adults and adults as they navigate key transitions across life, including career changes, relationships, and early couples counselling. I also provide support for individuals living with chronic illness, including epilepsy, as well as those experiencing depression, anxiety, and difficulties with mood regulation. My work focuses on helping clients build stability, competence, and a greater sense of well-being in the context of everyday challenges.

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Midland Park, New Jersey. I provide child psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments to give families clear answers and practical next steps.

Approach

When life shifts, work changes, relationship decisions, or managing a long-term health concern, I help you map practical, reachable steps that restore daily steadiness and clearer choices. We set an agenda together, practice coping strategies, and track small experiments between meetings. I use gentle pacing so moments of insight turn into habits, offering concrete tools and reflective questions you can try at home.
