Basic Information

Services

I consult with children, adolescents, and adults, and have a particular interest in working with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and dissociative disorders. In addition to psychotherapy, I conduct a range of psycho-educational, emotional, behavioural, and accommodation assessments for clients across various age groups. My therapeutic approach integrates Ego State Therapy, Somatic Ego State Therapy, psychodynamic principles, and hypnotherapy where clinically appropriate. Ego State Therapy works with the understanding that personality consists of different ego states or parts of the self, each carrying unique emotions, memories, and experiences. Through therapeutic engagement, these states can be accessed, understood, and integrated to support emotional healing, trauma resolution, and improved psychological functioning. Somatic Ego State Therapy further incorporates bodily awareness and nervous system regulation into the therapeutic process, recognising the significant role the body plays in storing trauma and emotional distress. This approach has been particularly beneficial in working with trauma-related conditions, PTSD, chronic pain, emotional dysregulation, and dissociative presentations. Where appropriate, hypnotherapy is utilised as a supportive therapeutic tool to facilitate access to unconscious material, strengthen insight, resolve internal conflicts, and promote greater integration between ego states. My goal is to provide a compassionate, integrative, and collaborative therapeutic space that supports clients in building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and navigating complex psychological experiences.
