Mrs Simran Kaur, MA
Psychotherapist
“### Professional Statement My practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful therapeutic work begins with a genuine human connection. I see therapy as a collaborative process — a space where you can slow down, feel heard without judgement, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the ways you relate to others. As an integrative and relational psychotherapist, I draw on different therapeutic approaches according to the individual needs of each client. My work is informed by Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches, Transactional Analysis, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, alongside an interest in somatic awareness and the relationship between our emotional and embodied experiences. I believe that our present experiences are often shaped by the relationships, experiences, and meanings we have carried with us. Therapy can provide an opportunity to explore these patterns with curiosity, compassion, and honesty — not to pathologise who we are, but to understand ourselves more fully and create greater freedom in how we respond. I aim to offer a therapeutic space that is warm, thoughtful, and grounded, while also allowing room for challenge and growth. I value authenticity, mutual respect, and the uniqueness of each person's experience. My intention is not to tell you who you should be or how you should live, but to support you in discovering what feels true and meaningful for you. ”
