Family Therapist

verified by TherapyRoute

I work with individuals, couples, families, and teenagers navigating grief, trauma, and relational pain. Much of my work focuses on understanding emotional responses within the context of relationships, life experiences, and the environments people are part of not just what is happening inside one person. I offer a calm, supportive space where emotions can be explored safely and at a manageable pace. With individuals, I help make sense of loss and trauma and build emotional strength. With children, teens, couples, and families, I support clearer communication, emotional safety, and repair after hurt or betrayal. Healing is approached as a shared process, shaped by connection, understanding, and meaningful change over time.

About Me

I am a therapist who works with individuals, couples, families, and teenagers navigating grief, trauma, and relational pain. People often come to me feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward after experiences that have shaken their sense of safety or trust. Working with me is collaborative, calm, and emotionally focused. I pay close attention to what sits beneath the surface unspoken emotions, patterns of protection, and the ways relationships shape how we cope. Sessions are paced carefully, allowing space to explore difficult experiences without pressure or judgment. I aim to help clients feel understood, supported, and gently challenged where growth is possible. I support individuals processing loss and trauma, help children and teens find safe ways to express and understand their emotions, and guide couples and families through repair, reconnection, and rebuilding trust after hurt or betrayal. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through emotional safety, meaningful connection, and compassionate understanding over time.

Approach

I create a safe, supportive space where individuals, couples, and families can explore emotions and make sense of experiences that feel overwhelming or painful. I focus on understanding patterns in relationships and helping clients respond to life’s challenges with clarity and emotional resilience. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced to suit each person, supporting reflection, honest expression, and gradual, meaningful change. My goal is to strengthen connection, improve communication, and guide healing after grief, trauma, or relational hurt.
