About Me

I have 15 years' experience supporting children, adolescents, and their parents. My specialisation is helping young people manage anxiety, often using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also provide parents with practical tools and training. This ensures progress extends beyond our sessions. Together, we help families navigate difficult emotions and find lasting ways forward.

Approach

Fifteen years supporting young people and their caregivers shapes a hands-on, playful and structured way of working that helps anxiety feel manageable. In Cape Town I meet families in English or Afrikaans, and offer in-person and online sessions that move between play, short skills practice and gentle reflection. Sessions are collaborative: we try small behavioural experiments, build coping plans and I give parents targeted feedback and home tools so change carries into daily life. This approach suits families who want clear steps and steady progress.
