Ms Shanté Dalhouzie

Registered Counselor

A passionate counsellor who enjoys working with children and families. We all experience low points from time to time, I am here for support

About Me

I understand that families and children face challenging times. As a passionate counsellor, I offer a warm, supportive space. Here, young people and their families can explore feelings and navigate difficulties. We can work together to find practical ways to cope with low points and build resilience. My aim is to help you feel heard and supported, fostering understanding and connection within your family.

Approach

When families face low points, therapy unfolds as a practical, steady space where we notice patterns, try small steps and make sense together. Sessions in Centurion or online move at a calm, conversational pace — brief check-ins, simple mindfulness practices and short home tasks help young people and parents test what works between meetings. I keep language plain, switching between English and Afrikaans to match how you speak, and I balance emotional exploration with down-to-earth coping skills for stress, self-esteem and career pressures. People who want collaborative, hands-on support for family strains tend to find this approach helpful.
