Ms Shalini Jha

Counseling Psychologist

An experienced Psychotherapist specializing in couple's communication issues, adolescents' emotional skill building, adult emotional issues, and more. I use CBT principles, hypnotherapy, and aspects of DBT.

About Me

I help couples navigate communication challenges, and guide adolescents and adults through their emotional landscapes. Using CBT principles, hypnotherapy, and aspects of DBT, I offer practical tools. For instance, we can use hypnotherapy to address specific emotional blocks. This approach supports you in building stronger emotional skills, finding clarity, and moving towards fulfilling relationships.

Approach

I blend focused skill practice with gentle exploration to help you notice patterns and try small, doable shifts that feel relevant to your daily life. In my New Delhi consulting room I offer sessions in English or Hindi/Urdu, paced to your comfort and sometimes supported by brief, structured assessments to clarify strengths and stress points. Between sessions you may try short exercises or reflective recordings, and I introduce CBT- and ACT-informed strategies alongside brief hypnotic anchors or DBT skills when helpful. This way of working often suits couples, teens and adults ready for practical, steady change.
