I genuinely care about you as a person. No matter how dark your world feels right now, I hope to light a candle by being a safe place to help untangle your anxious thoughts or unbearable emotions. You can expect a gentle style that involves multiple different approaches to make sure we're actually addressing your specific needs instead of trying to make your needs fit into any particular model of therapy.

About Me

Hi! I'm Samantha - I specialize in supporting people who feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma. I understand on a personal level the importance of meeting you where you are, and walking alongside on your journey. I honour and value your distinctive goals for therapy, and for yourself. I use my experience and training in health sciences, spiritual care, and psychotherapy to work WITH you to move beyond your symptoms to build a state of peace.

Approach

My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed as we find steadier ground and reconnect you with the parts of yourself that feel lost. While I am here to help untangle your thoughts using a combination of therapeutic models (such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), you are the expert of your life and your experiences. As you change and evolve, so does our approach.
