Miss Ruhsen Sevketoglu

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

Working as a senior Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in the NHS and treating individuals and groups with complex trauma, personality disorder and attachment issues using psychoanalytic therapy, MBT, EMDR & skills based therapies. I offer a no obligation free 30 min consultation. Look forward to speaking with you.

About Me

Drawing on extensive experience within the NHS, I support individuals and groups. We address complex trauma, personality difficulties, and attachment issues. My approach blends in-depth psychoanalytic therapy with practical skills, such as Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT). This helps you understand deep-rooted patterns and develop healthier ways to relate. I offer a free 30-minute consultation to explore how we might work together.

Approach

Therapy with me moves between careful listening and gently challenging reflections that help you trace how past relationships shape present reactions. Sessions are held in English online across the UK, paced to your tolerance with room for pauses, testing new ways of relating and short reflective tasks between meetings when helpful. I focus on noticing feelings, mental states and relational moments, turning insight into manageable experiments you can practice. This approach suits people grappling with attachment wounds, repeated relational pain or overwhelming states who want steadiness and clearer choices.
