Roisin Brennan
Counselor
“I provide in-person counselling in the West Cork area to adults who may be experiencing a sense of loss, isolation or disconnection from themselves, others or the world around them.”
About Me
For adults in West Cork experiencing loss, isolation, or disconnection, I offer a dedicated in-person Counseling space. We can gently explore these feelings together, understanding what weighs on you. My aim is to create a calm, supportive environment where you can feel truly heard. This collaborative process helps you reconnect with yourself, others, and the world around you.
Approach
When you come to my room in Dunmanway, we move slowly and attentively through what feels most pressing, naming moments of worry, grief or distance so they become more manageable. Sessions are face-to-face in West Cork and conducted in English, usually weekly, with room for gentle reflection between meetings. I blend careful listening, simple grounding practices and collaborative reflection to help you notice patterns around anxiety, mood and relationships and to build small, steady shifts. This way of working often suits adults seeking steady, compassionate companionship while navigating stress or burnout.
