I'm a professional and caring Registered Psychologist, and former Social Worker ,with over 20 years in the helping professions. I try hard to connect deeply with and help my clients navigate all the good and bad twists and turns in their lives. I am trauma informed and also have a lot of experience working with neurodivergent clients.

About Me

With over two decades in the helping professions, I bring extensive experience to our work. As a Registered Psychologist and former Social Worker, my approach is both professional, practical and caring. I guide individuals seeking clarity and support through difficult times and challenges in their lives. In sessions, we explore those concerns together --- fostering a safe, empathic space where you can feel truly heard. My background and life experience makes me a strong match for those valuing a grounded, experienced, creative perspective.

Approach

That steady, caring practical stance shapes how I work with you. Sessions move at a pace you can manage, blending focused problem-solving with taking time to truly understand and make sense of your thoughts and feelings. I offer appointments in Calgary and safe secure online sessions in English. I really try to help my clients build a sense of hope and gain the forward momentum to create significant life change, while trying to avoid feelings of pressure and overwhelm. I use trauma-informed framing and provide pragmatic supports for my clients, regularly checking in with them to make sure what we're doing together is safe and helpful. Therapy should be collaborative and I like my clients to feel supported and comfortable. People looking for warm, caring, thoughtful, steady collaboration often do well here.
