CORE SERVICES:
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. You are not a diagnosis! I provide clients with a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, supportive, objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental.
I believe that therapy offers clients an opportunity to develop insight, acceptance, and initiate change. It takes courage to ask for help. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to empower you.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional level II (CCTP-II). This neurobiologically informed, specialized training enables me to effectively assess and treat First Responders and Veterans living with simple or complex post-traumatic stress disorders.
Across a three-phased model approach, I work with clients to conduct formal assessment of their experiences with trauma, establish safety, learn and utilize skills to manage distress, process traumatic material using a trauma-focused therapeutic modality, and explore how what they have learned about themselves can be integrated into their present and future lives.
