Ms Riddhi Khandhar
Psychologist
“A mental health professional who has worked with populations within the age group of 4 years to 45 years, I have previously worked with special needs clients, children, couples and in trauma-care settings for survivors of abuse. My professional undertakings have helped me develop a trauma-informed practice.”
About Me
I help individuals and families navigate life's challenges, especially when past experiences leave lasting marks. My practice is deeply trauma-informed, built from years supporting children, couples, and special needs clients. We create a safe, understanding space to explore difficult emotions at your own pace. This gentle approach is ideal for survivors of abuse and anyone seeking to build resilience and move forward.
Approach
That gentle stance shapes how I guide sessions—slow, paced, and attuned to each person’s readiness. Whether we meet in Mumbai or online, I work in English, Gujarati, Hindi/Urdu or Marathi and adjust activities to age, ability and family rhythms. Sessions blend creative, body‑aware and narrative work with short between‑session reflections so memories and present reactions can be explored safely and practically. People rebuilding after past harm, caregivers and young clients often find this collaborative, steady way of working most helpful.
