Rhonda Dennis, MSc

Counseling Psychologist

Verified

As a Counselling Psychologist I support adolescents, young adults and adults as they develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their capacity for growth even in the face of life's challenges. My approach is focused on care with cultural awareness.

About Me

I am a Caribbean-based Counselling Psychologist, holding a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology (Community Emphasis) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. As a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Psychologists (TTAP) and the American Psychological Association (APA), I remain committed to ethical practice. I aim to assist adolescents, young adults, and adults in understanding experiences that can contribute to distress and honing their capacity for resilience, self-direction and constructive personal change.

Approach

My approach is a collaborative one between myself and the client, where we will foster a safe space to discuss your mental health, as I apply a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. My aim is to provide the support needed for my clients to harness the tools necessary to continue to navigate life’s difficulties in a healthier way, beyond the therapeutic space.
