Miss Rachel Poot

Registered Professional Counselor

I hold a 1st Class Hons B.A. in Integrative Counselling, alongside certifications in Advanced Yoga and Somatic Bodywork, I bring a rich array of skills to our sessions. My focus lies in exploring the intricate connections between the mind and body.

About Me

I bring a rich array of skills to our sessions, focusing on the intricate connections between your mind and body. We can gently explore how thoughts and feelings manifest physically. Through techniques like Somatic Bodywork, I help you understand and respond to your body's signals. This approach is ideal if you're seeking to integrate your emotional and physical well-being, fostering a deeper sense of calm.

Approach

I help you move at a steady, attuned pace, noticing how feelings show up and naming small shifts. In Surrey and online, in English or Dutch, sessions blend breath, gentle movement and reflective talk so your body and thinking can be co‑noticed. We use mindful noticing, ACT‑informed choices and brief in‑between practices to unwind patterns born of past harm, difficult relationships or separation. People coping with abuse, trauma or relationship transitions often find this grounded, practical way of working helpful.
