Rachel Loong

Registered Counselor

I work with clients navigating disempowerment through a down-to-earth environment where they can be supported without feeling judged or isolated. Clients are guided to gently explore the root of their challenges, develop a clearer perspective, and learn new coping tools to manage life when it becomes overwhelming.

About Me

This therapist guides clients navigating disempowerment, creating a down-to-earth environment for support. In this space, individuals find a truly safe place, free from judgment or isolation. They are gently encouraged to explore the roots of their challenges, fostering a clearer perspective. Clients then learn practical coping tools, making overwhelming life situations feel more manageable.

Approach

I offer a plainspoken, steady space where we carefully track what feels stuck and what shifts in small, practical steps. I meet adults from North Vancouver and beyond via English-language online sessions, so we can keep momentum between meetings. Sessions move at your pace — short experiments, body-based noticing, and clear thought exercises that you can try between appointments; I check in on how those feel and we adapt together. This approach often suits people navigating identity, relationship or career crossroads.
