About Me

I am a psychologist based in Hyderabad, Telangana. I work with you on anxiety, relationship problems, stress and burnout, career issues, and postnatal or perinatal depression. I provide coaching, counseling, psychology sessions, and somatic psychotherapy in a direct, practical style.

Approach

As a therapist, I approach my work with a trauma-informed lens, emphasizing safety, trust, and collaboration. In therapy, I use an integrative and holistic approach guided by the principles and practices of client-centered approach, CBT, strength based techniques, attachment theory and somatic practices. As a queer affirmative therapist, I am sensitive to unique challenges faced by the queer community namely struggles with internalized queer phobia, invisibility and erasure, isolation, discrimination and violence and intimate relationships. In therapy sessions, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for all my clients, where they feel seen, genuinely heard and understood. As I work with each individual, I take into account their unique context and its impact on their emotional well-being. Through the collaborative work of therapy, I help my clients explore meaning-making, healing and personal growth. I aim at empowering my clients to create new narratives and find purpose in their lives
