Miss Pouran Karimian

Registered Psychotherapist

I offer integrated, trauma & culturally informed therapy for dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout & more. We start by understanding your unique experience and goals. From there, I help you identify and challenge unhelpful patterns, and we work together to build resilience and self-compassion.

About Me

If you are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or burnout, I offer a warm, culturally informed space. We begin by truly understanding your unique experiences and goals. From there, I help you identify and gently challenge unhelpful patterns. Together, we build resilience and self-compassion. This integrated approach supports clients ready to find a clearer path forward.

Approach

Sessions move from understanding toward practical exploration, where we map how anxiety, perfectionism or people-pleasing show up in daily life and relationships. I offer in-person appointments in Toronto and secure online sessions in English, keeping a calm, predictable pace that feels steady and respectful. We use age-appropriate CBT techniques, trauma-sensitive pacing, behavioural experiments and reflective work between meetings to try small, safe changes and track what shifts. This way of working often helps adolescents, young adults and parents looking for clear, sustainable steps forward.
